Rosetta Tordis. Bench. March 28th , 2017.
It is every beginners goal to obtain a massive bench press. It's what we base our idea of improvement on. At one point in time I based my success on my bench press gains. As long as we see improvements in that area, most of us can stay motivated to keep doing the same routine week in and week out.
One of the major differences between a barbell and a dumbbell bench press is, that you can use substantially more weight for the latter. So if your goal is to increase your chest size, you will benefit by doing the dumbbell exercise. Although there is no set formula for weight conversion, in a barbell bench press routine, you can use almost double the weight than the dumbbell bench press.
It will all depend on how you wish to use your indoor wood benches as to whether or not you prefer ones that are backless or that have backs to them as well if they have arms or not. The reason for this is that while backless benches may look a lot more stylish, they are not always that comfortable to sit on for long periods of time.
People who have no prior experience in the area of muscle building, setting forth on a routine requires consultation, a clear objective, and lots of patience. A small start can be slightly difficult for some people, but that is the only way to do it. One must understand that this is a very taxing and tiring workout, so there must be enough time for one's body to recuperate in such a situation. The best solution would be to fix up the exercises for alternate days, that is, for 3 - 4 times a week. Any number of sessions more than this would tire one immensely.
